Wood Green Animal Shelter is one of the UK's largest pet charities and has been helping animals for over 90 years. The shelter's mission is to re-home and care for abandoned, unwanted or abused pets and provide support to pet owners in need. They have three centres located in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and North London. Wood Green Animal Shelter cares for all kinds of animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, horses, and more. They have around 5,500 animals in their care each year and it costs approximately £27 million annually to provide their services. Apart from re-homing animals, they also provide advice, support and education to pet owners. The shelter welcomes donations of time, money and supplies to help support their work.
